Our ministries.

Worship.
Sundays @ 10am
We gather to worship in the traditional Lutheran style. All of our liturgy is printed in a bulletin to make following along for visitors more accessible. We celebrate Holy Communion weekly. Everyone is welcome to the table. We provide online options through Zoom and YouTube.
-
Spirituals Come Alive.
Fourth Sunday of February @ 3pm
For over 25 years, we have hosted the annual Spirituals Come Alive! event. A celebration in song, poetry, dance, and history, we invite artists from across the city to share their talents as we celebrate Black History Month. An offering is received. All proceeds are donated to support LeMoyne-Owen College, Memphis’ HBCU.
-
Trinity M/W Lunches
Mondays & Wednesdays @ 11am
Offering lunch to our neighbors experiencing food insecurity, we partner with other local organizations to serve from Laura’s House Porch. We take a Sabbath each year during August, so no lunches are served for the month of August.
-
Ecumenical Bible Study.
Thursdays @ 11am
Each week, we meet for lunch and Bible study. For those unable to attend in person, you can call in through teleconference at 1-605-562-8400. PIN is 362-6997.
-
Seasonal Services.
Wednesdays @ 6pm
In the seasons of Advent and Lent we gather for Soup and Study or brief worship services. This discipline aids us in observing these holy seasons.
-
Thanksgiving Baskets.
Saturday Before Thanksgiving
Each Thanksgiving, we partner with other congregations to fill and distribute baskets that include turkey, all the fixin’s, and other groceries. We are blessed to provide over 50 families with milk, eggs, and dry goods in addition to turkey. Families from the neighborhood are selected and informed prior to distribution.
-
Christmas Angel Tree.
Second Saturday of December
One of our favorite events of the year, we gather Christmas gifts for 100 children in our neighborhood. A couple of Saturdays before Christmas, families are invited to the church for cookies, games, and visits with Santa. Families are selected and informed prior to distribution.

Room in the Inn-Memphis.
November - March
Collaborating with other churches and service groups, we provide holy hospitality in the form of a hot meal, a warm place to sleep, and a shower. Do you have a small group wanting to serve neighbors experiencing homelessness? Contact us about using our building to host Room in the Inn.
