Welcome! Peace Lutheran Church (ELCA) was established in May of 1926,
holding the honor of being the oldest Lutheran church in the greater Memphis area. During that time, it was known as First United Lutheran as part of the United Lutheran Church in America.
Peace is in the heart of Midtown Memphis and near Mud Island and Rhodes College. We are a community open to all people. We are also a diverse group of people worshiping in a traditional Lutheran way celebrating Holy Communion every week.
